Have you ever felt swallowed up by life? Maybe you were surrounded by depression, conflict, worry, or guilt—and you felt hopeless.
I hope you’re not feeling that way right now, but at some point you will be. You might lose a loved one, your job, or your health.

People often say things like, “You make me so mad!” But the truth is that nobody can make you mad without your permission. Anger is a choice, and you must choose to control it if you want to be a loving person.
PRAYER: Lord, I pray that You will come and strengthen me so that I can stand firm and secure in the knowledge that You are with me and that I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. Amen.
PRAYER: Lord, how precious it is to know that You know more about me than I know about myself. There is nothing that is hidden from You and You call me by my name, because You love and You care for me. Amen.

David had many life-threatening experiences. He had enemies within his court who were intent on destroying him. On the battlefield, he had adversaries who had trained to kill him. On many occasions David felt surrounded by ‘sorrows of sheol’ and the ‘snares of death’. He recounted his near-death experiences as a way of testifying about God’s deliverance. In the face of his frightful experiences, David had two responses.
There is no condition or situation that God cannot restore.
It may seem dark and impossible to us, but God is far greater.
Healing broken hearts and binding up wounds, is His speciality.
Give Him all those areas of your life and ask Him to heal and restore you.
